I am 31. My weight is 81 with height 5?6?. Trying to conceive. I had hypothyroidism and tsh was around 9 and I was put on 75 mg thyronorm. With good lifestyle, now my tsh is around 2.5 in past 1 year. Doctor suggested to continue with thyronorm till I conceive. But I did not understand why. Is it required?

You need to continue Thyronorm since hypothyroidism itself can affect ovulation and also continue the same after conceiving also to protect the baby from developing congenital hypothyroidism
