Take good quality fats from natural foods. If the body is deprived of essential fats, the body tries to compensate by producing more fats thereby increasing your chol levels. Avoid adding too much refined oil, sfas and transfat. Restrict simple sugars and maida.
Diet, exercise and if not controlled then medicine are three methods to control your cholesterol. Diet should be low fat, low carb, rich in fruits and vegetables. Everyday 30 min of exercise to complement diet. Finally if not controlled and if clinically indicated cholesterol reducing medicines help reduce your cholesterol.
