I am 53 years old male. Taking Glisen MF1 in the morning and Glisen MF2 in the evening apart form one Tellzy 40 and one Eltroxin 100. My latest test results are T3 103, T4 11.7, TSH 0.44. HbA1c 6.7, Average blood Glucose 146. Sugar 105 empty stomach and 130 after food. Can I substitute my Glisen tablets with BGR-34. If yes then how many tablets. Awaiting your valuable input.

You should continue the same treatment and once 3 to 4 months check hba1c% and tsh levels. The oral anti diabetic drug that is being taken is a well known established drug giving specific results. Where as tab bgr - 34 so called ayurvedic anti diabetes drug, is a combination of some herbal medicines, considered to be useful in reducing sugar. It has not been tried in any human beings. There is no clinical study at all. According to the originators of the drug it was only tried in mice, where it showed 67% success rate, which is just as good as a placebo. Plus since there is no human study, I will not be able to recommend that drug to any person.
