Hello doctor! I got common cold with sore throat on 1st january. Cold has gone but I still have some cough and hoarseness. I am feeling a need to clear my throat to talk even a small sentence. My voice gets stuck while speaking. I'm getting phlegm sometimes. I'm feeling like something's there in my throat. Sometimes i'm coughing very loud and continuously for 10 seconds. What should I do?

Stay away from polluted atmosphere. Warm saline gargles can help with the cough and hoarseness. Also, use a humidifier while sleeping tpprevent your throat fro drying up. A cold can sometimes take a long time to get better. However, if symptoms worsen, you must get yourself examined.
