Have a middle ear fluid infection. Tinnitus (ringing in the ear) is constant. Will this tinnitus go away, when the infection is gone? Any special vitamins to be taken? Thank you very much.

Middle ear infection needs to be treated promptly. Tinnitus can occur because of auditory nerves being affected due to diabetes (diabetes neuropathy), if blood vessels around the ear have atherosclerotic changes, bone complications, etc. Tinnitus may not entirely subside after infection is cured. You may require vit b12 supplementation, strict diabetic control.
