My bby boy born at 36 week of my pregnancy. His weight at the time of birth was 2.2 kg. He is not feeding mother milk. We are giving him lactogen. Is lactogen good for his health. What should I do that he start feed mother milk?

Congratulations on the arrival of the baby. Until the baby turns 2.5 kg you should use mothers milk or pre nan.

Mother's milk is considered best for the baby. He might have some issues regarding latching at the breast, which is to be corrected for better feeding at the breast. Mother's milk has all the nutrition needed for a newborn baby till his six months of age, so it is important that you continue feeding your baby with mother's milk. Happy to help if any further queries.
