Hello sir, I have done ultrasound neck and it has below observation s- there are few small lymph nodes with intact fatty hilum, measuring 9 mm seen at right level 1b, measuring 11x7 mm at level ii and measuring 14x8 mm seen at level 1 b on left. Small lymph nodes, measuring 3.5 mm &6.0 mm in right intra parotid region and small lymph node measuring 6.2 mm (in sad) seen in posterior triangle. So is it normal or lymph node biopsy is required?

Size must be in cm. They r not serve purpose for biopsy.

Sir it shows probably infected / inflammatory as there is preserved fatty hilum. No need of biopsy now. As a clinician more history is needed to arrive at diagnosis. No chance of malignancy. Needs a bit more information like discuss regarding the reasons
