My doctor advised my wife to take hcg injection 5000 iu daily for 2 weeks to support pregnancy. She suffered miscarriage after two weeks. Can this be because of this high dosage of injection as hcg should not be taken daily.

Hello, it is unlikely because of hcg injection. Hcg is meant to support pregnancy and not cause abortion. Miscarriage would have occurred because the pregnancy was possibly non viable or unfit to survive.
