Miscarriage Questions

Hello, I'm feeling overwhelmed and wondering if you can help me make sense of my situation. I had sex on the morning of December 16th, the night of the 17th, and the morning of the 18th. We used condoms each time and seemingly had no issues or accidents. I am not currently on another form of birth control but have an app that tracks my cycle and was worried because it said that I may have been ovulating at the time. I do not want to be pregnant, so I took Plan B One Step on the morning of December 19th. I expected my period on December 29th but was 2 days late. I am fairly regular but I still didn't have it by the 31st. I read a bit online about natural ways to induce your period. I didn't think I was pregnant (and wouldn't want to harm an existing pregnancy) but I wanted my mind at ease by having my period come sooner than later. I ate ginger (sushi serving) and took 3000 mg (three 1000 mg pills) of vitamin c at one time on the night of the 31st. My period came the next morning (January 1st). I then became worried that since I didn't have a pregnancy test before I took the high dose of vitamin c that I may have induced an early miscarriage had I been pregnant. I read that hcg levels do not go down immediately after having a miscarriage so I took a few pregnancy tests thinking that if I was pregnant the day before that the hcg levels would still be high enough to be detected after the potential miscarriage. From the same package, I took 3 pregnancy tests - one on the night of January 1st, one on the morning of the 2nd, and one on the morning of the 3rd. All tests were negative. Can I assume that I was not pregnant before and did not self-induce a miscarriage? Apart from the 2 day delay of my period, I had no obvious pregnancy symptoms. Would vitamin C in that dosage hurt an existing pregnancy? Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

December 1st I had a miscarriage naturally due to blighted ovum of 5 weeks sac but as per LMP I was at week 10.I had bleeding and spotting till 10 days. Doctor's scan confirmed that the contents were cleared. My queries are. Can I get back to my normal activities and moderate exercise? Should I avoid any foods? Can I start trying to conceive again immediately? Will uterus expand in case of blighted ovum too? If so how long would it take to get back to normal size?

Wait for 3 months to get pregnant again. And you are absolutely normal now. Please do all things as you we're doing when you were non pregnant. No relation with food but healthy diet including fruits and vegetables helps everyone planning to get pregnant. Take folic acid 5 mg daily for 3 months before planning pregnancy. Use contraception for 3 months.

You may be suffering from APLA Syndrome. Go to a good gynaecologist for proper evaluation and testing. You need some specific medications in next pregnancy.
