I got my blood tested for calcium and uric acid and it showed normal result for calcium 9.1 mg/dl and high for uric acid 7.6 mg/dl. Before doing my blood test, my doctor had recommended me calcium tablets for my back pain and weakness in legs. Shall I continue taking those calcium tablets or its not necessary? I also have bilateral renal concretions in both kidneys and minor spina bifida.

Take calcium, fibers, proteins in your diet. For consult nutritionist/ dietitian. Please concentrate on your uric acid levels. They severely affected your kidneys. Don't be forget. Don't take chance. Dietary modifications are important.
