Yes, isotretinoin can disrupt your menstrual cycle by causing early, delayed periods or spotting or can even increase period time pain in few women. In case your acne is not subsiding to any treatment and is resistant then this is your best shot. However keep in touch with your doctor especially because you should not conceive while on this tablet. It is not safe. so your doctor will guide you on this.

However irregular periods can cause acne for which you’re taking isotretitoin.
So you need to consult for the root cause of ur acne.

Hello I was also suffering from acne for last 10 years and now only after isotretinoin it's recurrence has stopped. If you are not trying to conceive you can use it. It does not cause any irregular menstrual cycle, if you are having such cycle kindly provide proper history regarding your cycle so that treatment can be advised. You might be suffering from pcod but it needs evaluation.
