I am 25 years old, for the past several years my areola is swollen, which feels uncomfortable, and there is no pain or lump or discharge in the nipple, but it returns to normal after exercise or bathing or rubbing. Then after some time it becomes abnormal again. What could be the reason for this. Please advise.

Hello mam if your areola have swollen and your age is 25 thani m requesting for the breast mri and if you are asking for someone and her age is more than 35 than I will recommend best view of her breast in mammogram and man for you if you can not afford mri than you can also go with the breast mammogram and advice wear appropriate size of your undergarment for breast and remove during night time and physical examination is necessary which is done by female health practitioners and please look out the videos of the self breast examination thank you please feedback and consult anytime.
