I have remove my right lower side wisdom teeth because it was helpful erected as per dentist advice now he said also remove exact upper wisdom teeth but it is healthy teeth I don't have cavities either so I need your advice thank you.

Hello, if the tooth isn't giving you any pain or discomfort, you don't really need to get it taken out. But perhaps your dentist diagnosed some underlying cavities in the tooth that may trouble you in the future. If you're not too sure, please get a second opinion to confirm. Good luck!

Its not compulsory for wisdom teeth to be grossly decayed or mobile to get it removed. There are mayny other reasons due to which wisdom tooth has to be removed like if its position is not correct then it may cause ulceration of cheek from inside which is not good for oral health. Its friction with soft tissues (skin) in you mouth can cause serious problems if not treated. So it becomes better to remove it than to keep it in mouth even if its healthy. Hope this helps..

Hello Lybrate user. The right upper wisdom teeth may be partially erupted. Or it may supra erupt. Or it may cause ulcers in lower jaw. Trimmimg the upper wisdom teeth, is not a temporary relief.
