Doctor! I was diagnosed with vaginal yeast infection. My doctor gave me clotrimazole cream for applying .when I apply it, there is a burning sensation just a minute and then it relieves after a few moments. Should I stop using the cream. Please reply. Its very urgent and needy.

Is the intensity lessening or not? If the intensity is same then you need another ointment and probably some probiotics. You will have to judge for yourself based on the relief you are feeling or not feeling.

You should continue the medicine it is normal to have burning sensation in there because the tissues in the vagina or injured because of infection it is in the process of healing mostly the burning sensation will not be there within one or two application.
