Improving memory is like body building. You need to work regularly and consistently to see the result. Follow these tips while you study 1. Remove distractions: the first step is to pay proper attention. Switch off your phone and find a quite corner where you can sit and study. 2. Prepare your brain: before you start studying its very important that you are in a receptive state of mind. Calm down if you are hyper-active/ anxious/ nervous. If you are bored, then you need to energize yourself. 3. Relax: simply take 5 slow and deep breaths to relax instantly. Visualize a favorite scenery or have a glass of water. 4. Motivate: a brisk physical exercise just before studying can improve your circulation and attention. Try jumping or skipping a rope for 3-5 minutes. 5. Take a break: keep a check on your attention level. If you are drifting off, then take a break and come back. Keep a glass of water with you. Stretch! 6. Repeat: everyone forgets what they have read after some time. Unless you repeat the important points again and again, your brain will not store the data. Revision is the key to retention.
