Hi, i'm junaid and i'm looking help from orthopedic surgeons. I'm 28 years old and was very active in gym over natural diet. I wasn't doing gym to get six pack and bigger body frame but for fitness only and I was able to lift healthy weight. My life was going pretty good and I decided to go for whey protein intake and I purchased the 5 lbs box and started taking it 24gm/day first week and after first week talking 50gm/day so, after one and half month I started to hear crunchy sound in my left shoulder but I ignored and then my second shoulder and after few days from my whole body, I felt my bones are getting weaker and weaker and got lumber disc bulge while doing gym and after that I left the gym and taking rest, I tested vitamin d severe deficiency 9 ng/ml, I started taking vitamin d 200000 units/week for 5 weeks and after that 200000 units/month for 5 months now my d level is 59 ng/ml. I'm now 70% better but still have cracking sound in my shoulders and cervical. Please suggest me should I continue to take vitamin d? If yes how many units per day/week/month? I was talking 500 mg calcium too with vitamin d for 3 to 4 months. Please suggest about calcium too. Needed your best advice. Thanks.
