I am a 27 year old female student. Pursuing ca course. But I am facing a lot of mental hurdles. .i don't feel like studying .and when I sit to study I am unable to grasp the information that I am reading. It has got very tough for me to keep up like this. Ca course needs a lot of hard work. But I am constantly failing. I have been taking supplements that used to help me earlier. But now they seem to be showing no effect. I practice pranayam at morning .everything would work earlier for me. But I have no idea why these things have stopped working for me somehow.

It happens to all of us when we study for a long time. Don't worry. What you can do is, if possible, take a complete break from studies. For two or three days. Watch a movie, read some inspirational stories as well. If you don't like that, then sleep for a good amount of time. If taking break is not an option, reduce your daily study time to half of what you are doing now, and fix that as a target. Upon completion of this target, treat yourself with a reward. A reward means something which you like but you have not been doing because of your studies. It could be a movie as I said, or sleep. Then gradually increase the target. This burn out phase is very common and all you need is a slight refreshment. It's as good as exercise. You cannot go on stressing an already stressed modality of our body. Coming to ca, it's so hard that people fail 3-4 times before clearing it. It need not be the case for all but let's assume the average student case. Some people have even left the course because of the jobless state. If you are not in a financial crisis, just don't give up yet. Help will be available when you deserve it the most. You are not alone. Good luck. Stay safe.
