I want to know, it's been more than a year now after a hernia surgery, whether I can do gym for weight gaining or not? And if no then what other options do I have for the same?

After hernia surgery, passing so long time you may go to gym. But only light exercise you may do. Avoid heavy weight lifting. Abdominal exercise should do with precaution under supervision of expert trainer.
