I recently had a fit just after smoking a cigarette. I have no history of epilepsy, but have had these fits a few times, every time it has happened has been exactly after smoking a cigarette. I am conscious when it happens, and end up shaking uncontrollably. I can't think of any other reason beyond the cigarettes for this happening. Is the nicotine a likely reason for the fits?
