The medication you are having is quite correct and maybe you may have to review the dosage. Meet with your doctor and report these symptoms. I suggest that you meet with a counselor too and learn some skills and techniques to deal with stress. Under stress, the mind is very suggestive and it does so by proposing all the worst-case scenarios, every time. That accounts for your bp. What you have not done so far is to seek help via counseling. This is extremely important and could have helped you recover a long time ago. It is still not too late. Also, you need to do some vigorous exercise, as permitted by your doctor. Exercise makes the heart grow larger and a large heart pumps more blood to all extremities and it pumps it more efficiently, with fewer beats. Under those conditions, your response to fear will be far superior to the normal population who do not exercise. Also, you need to train the brain through yoga and meditation to remain calm, and to handle situations with a lot of composure. Nitric oxide exercises will help tremendously. You could learn some stress management skills too. All these measures will increase your confidence and composure. Eat well, sleep well and handle your emotions, especially fear well, with the help of a counselor.

Dear Satarupa, What is your age? When did you check thyroid and sugar? Are you still taking betacap and nexito plus? Some anxiety symptoms are recurrent depending on the diagnosis. Please get back to your doctor for diagnosis and treatment.

If you take alcohol then it is the culprit, approach a psychiatrist for deaddiction. Ecg should rule out arrhythmias. A physician will rule out cardiac issues. Assuming you are not on any other antihypertensives and substances of abuse, you can attribute the sudden change to changes in the interpersonal relationships in your home or workplace. A psychiatrist/psychologist can guide you through the conflicts, and bring it out if you are amnesic to any such known issues. Rare reasons include a new onset decrease in liver/kidney functions (metabolic alterations). Last but not the least, you need to rule out new found obsessions, frequent ruminating will surely raise the anxiety. Bp monitoring is needed to rule out adrenal issues (dangerous at times).
