I am suffering from ringworm from 6 months. Now recently, I had delivered a baby. After consulting dermatology doctor, he gave me itraconazole 100 mg twice a day for 1 week. During usage of this medicine, can I breast feed my baby or not?

Dear user, itraconazole is better to be avoided during breastfeeding, as it may pass on to the fetus. Studies have shown poor absorption in milk but it is safe to avoid breastfeeding during this period. It is better to store breast milk and feed as required but not to feed during the course of the medication.
