It is possible. Try getting up early in the morning and study. Do meditation for 20 minutes/ breathing exercise for 20 minutes and yogasanas for 30 minutes early in the morning and study every day as to how you can improve. Prioritize.Think and act.

It's highly unlikely that you have memory loss. You're probably being forgetful and it's most likely to be due to a preoccupied mind or a disturbed emotional state. You're probably going through a stressful period marked by academic stressors, difficult inter personal relationships, difficult career choices etc. Yes, you can remedy your situation with counseling.
