My sister continuous vomit since yesterday and having lower abdomen pain. Now she admitted to city hospital. And found random blood glucose lever 580, tlc 27000, slightly abnormal abg report. In treatment, they give ns, rl, insulin, antibiotics. Still, it's not back to normal. The current reading is 320. She is just 28 years old fit girl.

Yes due to the vomitting she has severe dehydration which is restored by the IV fluids. Insulin is given to reduce the Blood glucose which should be less than 190mg/dl. It will take time. She was probably a diabetic previously and was not monitored due to which her blood sugar was high. She has to be monitored for blood sugar from now on and her diet has to be closely monitored.
