In september and october, my period lasted around two weeks, and when I went to the doctor on 12th october, I was diagnosed with a small cyst in my left ovary, the doctor said there is no need for an operation, and gave me iron pills, medical< for the whole month and dydrogesterone tablets (to eat from the 16-25 day of my cycle). I bled from 1st october till 23rd october, on 12th october, the doctor took an ultrasound and said that my uterine lining is thick, so I will continue to bleed. But the bleeding stopped on 24th, but came back again. Now i'm experiencing period flow again, and i'm also passing menstrual clots more frequently than normal. Kindly tell me if this is a side effect of the medication or is it something more serious than that. I am a 19 year old female, and I am not sexually active.

No its not side effect of dydrogesterone. In fact its used for heavy menstrual bleeding. Homeopathy offers good results for this problem n has very encouraging results. And homeopathic medicines are safe and do not have any side effects at all.
