I am having pcod and thyroid. And consuming tablet thyronorm 25 mg. It's been 5 th year of my marriage. I got abortion in 6 months. After that 3 years I am not getting pregnant. So doctor said to go through diagnosed hysterolaproscopy. Should I do this compulsory. And is it helpful for me to get pregnant and is there any side effects with this laparoscopy. Please guide me.

You have conceived once and you have hypothyroidism. The cause of pregnancy loss may be due to thyroid ststus. You can do all other investigations including semen analysis, ser. Estrogen,progesteron, ser. Prolactin.laparohysteroscopy is not compulsory. Instead you can get a simple test, hydrotubation.i am a laparoscopic surgeon and you should not be scared about laparoscopy. Hysteroscopy combined with it can find out intra uterine pathology too. But in your case it is not mandatory.
