My wife aged 62 years had an infection in her stomach and was suffering from diarrhea. She was advised to take Pantoprazole and now she has recovered. Still she is not able to take regular food, particularly hot food (with chilly). Her tongue's colour also became black. Now she is applying Nuforce mouth paint. Her Hb has come down to 7.5 from 10. Doctor has advised to take folic acid and Zincofer. She has crack in both the ends of the lip. How long it will take to become normal? Her treatment is ok? Please advise.
