I am 24 years male. I am epileptic patient. My doctor gave me levera xr 1000 mg from intas pharmaceuticals for twice a day and in night they also mentioned me adinep 10. And my chemist shopkeeper gave me levera 1000 mg and cloba 10 mg with same salt (clobazam) from intas pharmaceuticals. And tell me the salt is same nothing difference between these medicine. But I have doubt. They both levera xr 1000 mg and levera 1000 mg and cloba10 or adinep 10 are same medicine?

Hello Lybrate user, cloba and adinep are two different brand names for the same molecule-clobazam but there is some difference between levera and levera xr. Xr stands for extended release, once a day dose is usually sufficient whereas levera requires two times daily dosage, 12 hour apart.
