I have farsighted problem for a year and don't use spectacle for a long time and I can't see very clearly. What should I do? Should I consultant a doctor or started using spectacle. Sir. What are the suggestion you want to give me? If don't want to use spectacle is there any alternative methods through which I can able to see very clearly again.

Glasses, contact lenses and surgery are the only three options. If you not comfortable with contact lens or glasses, you can plan lasik surgery after a proper prelasik checkup. Lasik is a simple laser procedure which changes the shape of the cornea so that the light rays fall on the retina properly. Basically a flap is made on the cornea, the laser is then given to cornea and flap is reposited. It is a painless procedure. It is a day care procedure does not require any injections, does not require admission, you can simply resume your duties in 2 days. Cost varies from centre to centre. Side effects are usually limited to dryness of eyes for few months. We can do lasik anytime after age of 18 years. You need to undergo proper prelasik checkup to decide whether lasik is safe for you or not.
