Had hydrocelotomy 1 year ago. And still my right testis is swollen. Hard testicle and heavy. Doctor said that it was normal after surgery upto a year. But it's been 15 months post surgery and still swollen. Do I have testicular cancer. Can a scrotal ultrasound miss testicular mass.

Hello Theda SIngh. It may not be cancer... But in hydrocelectomy they just empty the content and make it inverted so that the fluid does not collect again. But they actually don't cure the root cause of the hydrocele. Better take proper homoeopathic treatment to cure it.

lybrate-user, no usg will not miss testicular mass usually. So don't worry. If you are feeling discomfort very much talk to that surgeon again and tell your problems. All the best.
