Ultrasound indicates right radial artery noted to be narrowed in caliber. No evidence of thrombosis seen. The artery now demonstrates low velocity monophasic flow psv 12.3 cm at elbow 8.8 cm at wrist through your it?s course. What does monophasic flow? Is this normal?

it means the lumen is small and there can be some complications .. phase means the flow .. usually the vessels show triphasic flow which is good flow as resistance to flow increased the flow becomes monophasic
