I have patches of hyperpigmentation on my stomach area and lower back and near my armpits. I don?t know the cause of it. I?ve tried exfoliating often but it just turns red and does?t seem to go. I?ve also tried using oil which helps as it seems lighter but then goes back to it?s usual state.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you. Some of the more common causes for changes in skin color are illness, injury, and inflammatory problems. Discolored skin patches also commonly develop in a certain part of the body due to a difference in melanin levels. Melanin is the substance that provides color to the skin and protects it from the sun. Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.
