Hello! I'm male, 24 years of age. Had my bp checked a month back after feeling dizzy nd lightheaded. It was 100 by 66. Was advised to increase my salt intake. So I was drinking a glass of salt water, 1 teaspoon of salt in a glass of water, daily. In the meantime, had my bp checked every two days. It was normal, 118-121/ 78-80. But in the last two weeks I'm again having those symptoms of lightheadedness, mild confusion, dizziness. Now my diastolic pressure is remaining between 78-80 but the systolic pressure is dropping to 100. Even yesterday I had it checked after feeling lightheaded, it was 102/80. But I'm still having that" 1 tsp of salt in a glass of water" I'm worried. I'm from India, 6 ft tall nd I weigh 80 kilos.
