I and a friend of mine was suffering from ringworm around private parts since months. We took different medications but nothing helped. Recently, she had fluka 150 tablets and applied derobin ointment and her ringworm is gone (that's what she said). Should I also try that?

Derobin is very strong ointment and it can burn the skin and we never recommend it for fungal infection. Treatment of fungal infection depends on so many factors like body part infected, type of fungus, age and weight of person, etc etc. Improper or partial treatment may solve the problem temporarily or can damage the skin. Fungal infection is known to come back if proper and complete treatment coyrse is not taken. Hence, I would suggest you send all the details with pictures showing affected areas so that I can check properly and write a complete prescription for you. All the best.

Do not use derobin ointment because it is not an antifungal ointment first of all. Secondly it is a contact irritant which can burn your skin. So, do not try it at all. Consult some nearby qualified dermatologist or you can consult online for that.

Hello dear. Wait for a couple of days and your friend's ringworm is gonna come back with vengeance. Not to scare you or anything, but the cream she applied has potent steroids, which are used for many other skin condition, but not for this one I suggest that you schedule an online appointment for proper evaluation and treatment.
