My husband have a very little drop of blood in his sputum or saliva after coughing. This happened 15-20 days before and today it came for about 4-5 times but very small drop (smaller than a drop). He is having this cough problem from more than a month. He stopped smoking and eating tobacco since last month. What can be possible cause of this and should I do.

For your husband. If the blood is of bright red colour, it could be due to a minor cut/ rupture in the throat. This may be the result of continuous coughing. The negative effects of smoking and tobacco and the cough with drop of blood can be effectively treated by homeopathy. You need comprehensive treatment and it takes some time. Please start taking homeopathic medicine Arsenic album 200-once daily in the morning for 5 days. Cause may vary from simple bronchitis to major cause like lung cancer (although simple bronchitis is much more common than cancer). In any case, I will advice you to not take a risk and get a chest x ray done urgently. Further treatment will depend on x ray report.
