The patient, a 75 year old man, already suffering from compression between l1 and l3 following a fall and recovering under bed rest, fell down from the bed (while asleep) again and after this fall, he has not been able to sit up. Its almost a week now. He can move his right leg, but not left, which appears to be a bit stiff in the knee and a bit swelled which also got cured within 2 days. After fall ,he complained about pain in left side and was on calcium and pain reliever medication. He can not fold his left leg without help and not able to lift his waist properly or stand. What may be the cause and treatment? I am asking this as during this lockdown period ,due to lack of logistic support and availability of orthopaedic Dr. ,he can't visit a doctor. Please reply.
