My wife is pregnant and today doctor give her duphaston 10 mg tablets. Few month ago we have a miscarriage. So its useful for her or not. Can I took this medicine because I read sideeffrcts of this medicine.

Hello.. Don’t worry.. Continue taking Duphaston which we often give emperically for prevention of miscarriage at least for 12 to 14 weeks.. Duphaston contains dydrogesterone and is safe in pregnancy..

Its safe and highly needed for patients who previously had miscarriage. If a drug has a list of side effects it means that it its all the possible thing happen but it doesnt mean everyone will have all of it

Duphaston is safe to take. However, whether it's effective in reducing the risk of miscarriage is not known exactly. But there is no harm in taking it. Moreover, majority of the women who had previous miscarriage, will have healthy pregnancy.
