My 15 month old daughter had cough and high fever. The fever reaches upto 103-104. After taking paracetamol, it climbs down very slowly and reaches around 99.5 on the lower side and again shoots up and reaches near 103-104. This is the fever cycle. I contacted the doctor and he asked for chest xray which shows pneumonia. The doctor has prescribed cefeclar oral suspension to be taken 5 ml daily. Sthalin syrup, levocet-m syrup and paracetamol syrup to be taken every 5-6 hours if fevers continue. The baby finds it very difficult to feed due to cough and breathing issues. Just want to know whether this treatment is fine or you can suggest more to it. Doctors says it can take upto two weeks to cure the conditions.

You can try meftal syrup instead of paracetamol as it is much more effective in such high temperature. Use nasoclear nasal drops if the nose is blocked.
