Dear Doctor, I'm in love with my first cousin that is my father's brother's daughter and I want to marry her (not now, in future, I mean in at the age of 25 for me and 19 for her) actually she means a lot to me,(both of our parents accepted but worried about the genetics) but one doubt that is will there be any problems in future while having a baby? (I mean about genetics) mine and her age difference is 5 years 6 months 10 days mine and her blood group is both o +ve and the question is can we marry? Will there be any chances of getting genetically problem? If yes, what are the percentages of having? Is there any medical treatment to avoid such genetical problems? Do we need to consult a doctor? If yes, which department? Do we both need to take any physical tests? Pls answer me your response means really really a lot to me, hoping for your positive response, thank you my dear doctor.
