I am trying to get pregnant and my gynecologist prescribed me regestrone on my 18th day of my cycle. Why?

Don't know why. It may be for cycle regularisation. Just ask your doctor. Regestrone will not allow pregnancy.

Regestrone will make your periods regular. Other mcronised progesterones supports pregnancy. Talk to your doctor. Inform her that you are trying for pregnancy.
