My 1 years baby accidentally swallowed about 0.5 ml of otrinoz nasal drops. Wat to do. Is it harmful.

There are case reports of accidental ingestion or overdosing of xylometazoline (content of this nasal drop) leading to central nervous system depression and cardiovascular effect. Though the dose ingested is very less, still you should be watchful for features like decreased breathing rate or heart rate, lethargy or drowsiness. If any of the symptoms develop, kindly visit a nearby pediatrician.
