Hi my 1 year one month old baby got sudden fever and chills at night but she is completely active all the day even before sleeping but suddenly at 1 pm I noticed fever and chills so that I gave paracetamol syrup. Morning her temperature is normal but again now I noticed temperature so please suggest me whether I have to take her to hospital or should I continue paracetamol syrup please help me with this.

If your child is active and there are no other symptoms you can think it is a viral fever and does not need antibiotics or hospital checkup. Give paracetamol 4th hourly and observe her any other signs for 3 days. In the case there are any other trouble, immediately take her to a doctor.
