Serta ( Sertraline) is an effective medication to treat anxiety and panic attacks. You are on 50 mgs which is a good starting dose. Dizziness should gradually settle in a couple of weeks and you can expect improvement after 2-4 weeks. Sometimes the dose needs to be increased further depending on your response and tolerability.
Also try to get some counselling/psychological therapy

It will work, but there are better medicines for panic and anxiety. Consult a psychiatrist for the same.
