No there is no other treatment over surgery for fistula. Even ksharsutra procedure is one of the ancient surgery procedure the best traetment for fistula but it is a tome taking and painful process it may take up to 6 month for a 3 inch fistula track. Ksharsutra procedure timing is always depend on the length of fistula track. I have evolved ksharsutra to my own technique thread-ligation which took comparatively very less time, less sittings, less pain even you can do your regular activities after 2 or 3 days of procedure.
