Hi, I am getting married in a few days. We are planning to go for some test before marriage. Does my wife require to for pep test? She is not having a bleeding issue and other symptoms. She has normal periods. Here age is 28. No family history of cancer at all. I am scared to go for this test. Please suggest what are a chance to get one woman cervical cancer? She never drinks or smoke.

Pap's smear is routine screening test for all women every 3 to 5 years depending on which test is done. Before getting married ideally both should undergo other reports like vdrl, hbsag, hiv, anti-hcv, hb electrophoresis etc. Meet gynaecologist.
