I have had episodes of depression, stress, anxiety from an early age and only admitted opened up to them last two years, after being encouraged to seek professional help from my children, two been trained by the nhs. I do/did binge drink, making my stomps worse, then won't leave my home, where i've been living on my own past 4 years, after my lengthy 6 year divorce, loss of my mother, and highly pressure job at jaguar landrover, where I worked for 16 years. I have had several consultations, aware of what I need to do, continue to go to the gym (i do), cut down/stop drinking (i have), stay busy and apply for less stressful jobs initially part-time (i did work 5 moths last year as tutor and last month as business improvement engineer but quit after a month). However, I still survive on 3-4 sleep and have lost all interest in my field of work. I've even worked in china and india, but missed home. My gp refuses to give me sleeping and depression tablets as both are addictive.
