Hi, i?ve been having sticky thin strands of saliva on my lips and inside my mouth after waking up in the morning since a few weeks now. Initially this was only in the morning after waking up, but recently its before sleep also. I have about 2.5 litres of water a day.

Hello. Sticky saliva can be due to many reasons, like dehydration, any oral or nasal infections, motor neuron disease, or salivary gland disease. If you don't have any other symptoms, then just increase your water intake and take care of oral hygiene. If any other symptoms persists, then you must take proper consultations. For further treatment you can ask me through private questions.
