Dear doctors how to come out of rabies fear. I am from chennai .as I stepped on a sleeping dog and due to pain it shouted and weaved its legs and due to that got a small scratch with no blood this happened on 24 th feb. As there is no bleeding I left with out any injection. Due to friends compulsion started arv on march 25 and had 3 doses (0,3,7). And I saw the dog sleeping and wandering in the same street more than a month. But till now I can not come out of rabies fear. If my leg pains I am thinking rabies attacked me if throat pain, if some excess saliva if head pain what ever happens I am fearing rabies will attack me. I do not know to come out of this idiot fear. Till now 81 days completed and am still alive now. Please help me to come out of this fear.
