I have braces and my teeth is getting yellow day by day. Its going to complete one year this year and I have to wear those braces for next six months more. I m scared that by the time I get away with them, my teeth color will get permanently yellow. Please suggest some advice as to how to prevent the yellowness.

Its quite normal during braces treatment that teeth becomes slightly yellow because incovenience of brushing. There are special brushes available which can be used during this treatment. Be patient and brush carefully for 2 times a day. Always rinse your oral cavity after food intake. And dont worry your teeth will regain natural shade once the treatment is over. Thanks.

Your teeth is getting yellow because of lack of access of tooth brush due to the braces on your teeth, during brushing. You need to get scaling done, followed by correct brushing technique. Since you are wearing braces you need to brush your teeth after every meal and rinse your mouth thoroughly after every food intake. You need to use colgate phos-flur mouthwash to prevent the discoloration on your teeth.
