Dear lybrateuser, - Four hours of sleep is quite less for the optimum functioning of the mind & body( normal is about 7-8 hrs) as you have to concentrate on studies for a long time - however if you feel tired & sleepy or lack concentration then can take a short nap of half to one hour in the afternoon which will refresh you & the mind will be able to concentrate & grasp much better.
