Good day, My mother's blood analysis results not very good, she is 50 years old. Hgb, mcv, mch, mchc, fe are less thar normal results, plt, rdw-cv, pct are higher that normal results, our local doctor advice to make biopsy procedure for knowing the reason, but it is difficult procedure and we afraid of it, is there any method to identifying the cause, in order avoid biopsy procedure. Thank you!

Biopsy of which organ and what are her symptoms if it's related to menopause, get ultrasound abdomen done by a reputed radiologist and then get aspiration biopsy which is done using a syringe, and is least traumatic if there's another issue, do get back here to discuss. Lumps if present are done by fine needle aspiration cytology, needle procedure and it's called fnac.
